ABSTRACT

Learning media is an important aspect of learning, especially with the Covid-19 pandemic encouraging the need for students to study online. Based on observations made in several vocational schools in Malang and Balikpapan, books or ppt are media used in learning. There has been no innovation in learning media in the field of sound and image processing technology. To develop interesting learning media and foster student creativity, a mobile learning media was developed using problem-based learning methods in photography and videography for class XI multimedia SMK students to increase student creativity. The R&D model used is Sadiman's version of R&D as follows: 1)need assessment;2)goal setting;3)set of ingredient formulations;4)development of success metrics;5)Create media scripts;6)inspection;7)production ready;Validation was carried out by media experts and material experts, then analyzed using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method with quantitative and qualitative data types with questionnaire-based data collection methods and feasibility tests on students. The results of the study showed a score of 95.13% for material experts, and 84% for media experts and student creativity as measured by UEQ obtained a score of 76.75%. That is, the percentage has a very good meaning. © 2022 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to determine the mental health condition of vocational high school students in Indonesia during the pandemic using the Rasch analysis method with the DASS-42 instrument. A total of 1381 vocational students in Indonesia participated in this study through the questionnaire. The results showed that more than 60 % of Indonesian vocational students experienced mental health problems during the COVID-19 pandemic due to social restrictions, and online learning. Furthermore, the findings of this study showed that mental health issues were mostly experienced by female students, firstborn children, and students who live in rural areas, and from middle-income backgrounds.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to: (1) At the age of the COVID-19 pandemic, construct a virtual simulation learning innovation based on augmented reality in the form of a sawing machine to enhance the special skills of vocational students;(2) testing the feasibility of learning innovation based on virtual simulation based on documented reality in the form of a sawing machine;and (3) testing the effectiveness of virtual simulation learning innovation based on augmented reality in the form of a sawing machine. This research uses research and development. The research stages include product design, product testing, learning media expert testing, and effectiveness testing. The effectiveness test was carried out on vocational students at universities in Malang City. Among the key findings of this research are the following: (1) a virtual simulation learning innovation based on augmented reality in the form of a sawing machine developed that is feasible and attractive (percentage above 80%);(2) in the age of the COVID-19 pandemic, a virtual simulation learning innovation based on augmented reality in the form of a sawing machine was developed and demonstrated to be effective in enhancing the special abilities of vocational students.;and (3) The study's digital learning media innovation products can be applied to the design of learning media in the COVID-19 pandemic era © 2022 IEEE.
